Sarah Ryder

I co-founded Bear Fitness in 2015 with the goal of helping my clients to not only achieve their goals but to surpass them. There has always been a focus on educating clients on the process of training and why we are performing each exercise. I pride myself on being able to adapt my training to match any client whilst using scientific theory and an engaging approach to make sessions enjoyable!

I hold a degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Exeter along with the highest level of qualifications from REPs (Level 4). I have worked for magazines Men’s Health and Runners World and bring exceptional 'know-how' to personal training. I have played at a national level for a range of sports and my passion for fitness and knowledge of how to achieve and maintain a healthy body and mind is reflected in the high standard of service I offer to all clients.

I get an enormous amount of satisfaction from getting those who feel the least comfortable in the gym to be happy within themselves and moving and feeling better. My attention to detail and infectious enthusiasm make each session greatly rewarding and motivating (if I don't say so myself).
